Directions: From Exit 73 off of I-40: Turn onto Bat Cave Road towards the McDonalds. You will stay on Bat Cave Road for about 7 miles. Take a left onto Mc Kenzie Way at the Gateway Mountain Sign. Up the hill you will see the community post office on the right just before the gate, it has log siding and says "Postal Station" on it. The key card for the gate is in a lockbox in the community post office. (Code to lockbox in showing time) Go through the gate, at the intersection take the sharp right to stay on Mc Kenzie Way, there is a flag pole at that turn. At the stop sign, stay on Mc Kenzie Way South. In about 1/2 mile, the first houses you see will be on the right and look like twins. Just past those homes is a driveway to the left and that is Fireside Retreat! If you see a road sign that says Kent's Trail you have gone too far and should turn around.
