Directions: From Asheville, I-26/U.S 19 N/U.S 23 N/U.S. 70 W toward Mars Hill. Take Exit 9 making a right towards Burnsville on 19E. Follow several miles towards Prices Creek General Store. Turn left off of 19E at the Prices Creek General Store. (Price's Creek General Store will be on your right). At stop sign, make a left onto Cane River School Road. Follow one mile making a right onto 19W. Follow 19W as it follows the Cane River (Much of this has been rebuilt since the storm) This will wind several miles passing the Egypt and Ramseytown Fire Department. Look for the Riverbank General Store on the left (temporarily closed and now a camper). Make the left just passed the store (camper) onto State Road 1395 or Bald Creek Road. Follow several miles passing Bee Log Elementary School on the left and keep driving. The house sits on a hill with a red carport to park under.. When leaving just follow the same path out.
