From Weaverville, take Reems Creek Rd 7.5 miles to the end, left on Maney Branch Rd for 1.5 mile. At the crest of the mountain, take a right on Gavin Glenn Rd for 1/2 mi. Park on the right where there is a fork in the road. Walk a short way and the property is on the left. If multiple cars, it would be best to park at the beginning of Gavin Glenn Rd and carpool to the site. For GPS, use 145 Gavin Glenn Rd: the property is before that address. All wheel drive is suggested, especially if there has been recent rainy/snowy weather. Please note mountain courtesy for one lane roads: vehicles traveling up the mountain have the right of way and those coming down must pull over or back up.
